After completing a sync I opened my drive and the display showing the files worked fine. But when I tried to open a document (.gdoc) file, it opened a new tab that was blank. The document would not load.

    Hi,
In Finder, right click on File -> choose "View in MultiDrive" menu.

Let us know if it work for you.

I am unable to find the location where MultiDrive is storing the files in the finder.

    Hi,
You can click each item in file list window (menubar window) to navigate to file in Finder.
or you can click on Folder icon on top Menubar to open root folder.

I tried clicking the folder icon, but nothing happened?
Should I try uninstalling the app and reinstalling it?

    Hi,
Did you choose root folder when setup account? Can you try open menu -> Preferences and see Root folder path ?

I did, and I think I accidentally placed it within my google drive root directory.
Think I deleted it trying to figure out how to move it.

You can open Preferences -> choose change Drive location . We recommend you choose inside Current User folder.
